I have to be honest this was the first time I had come across Chobani, but an online search revealed the company was founded in 2005 in America by Hamdi Ulukaya. Within 5 years Chobani yoghurt was the number one selling yogurt in the United States… pretty impressive!
I arrived at The Corinthian on Tuesday evening, and was directed to the Langley Room, a beautiful private room on the second floor of the venue.
Myself, and 18 other local bloggers were seated around a beautiful table and presented with a fabulous menu featuring Chobani yoghurt in every course.
I opted for Chobani Risotto, followed by a Rack of Lamb with Chobani Dauphinoise potatoes & Chobani mint sauce, and finally Chobani Caramel Creme Brûlée.
All courses were delicious, and the yoghurt added a delicious creaminess to each dish.
This meal has definitely inspired me to use yoghurt more in my cooking and baking. I have actually been planning on baking a berry yoghurt cake, so watch this space…!
We were all given a Chobani goody bag with some fab recipe cards – look forward to trying these out! Check out more recipes on the Chobani website.
Thanks to Christine & Amy from Chobani for hosting such a fabulous night.
